Version 2.0 ■first release of X-View

Version 2.6 ■The core-program of X-View has been rewritten
in 100% assembly language, to give user applications
as much memory available as possible.
X-View now only needs 832 Bytes (!!!) of memory while
executing other programs.
■Also fixed several small bugs (refresh, statistic-
function on empty drive)
■File duplicate function implemented
Version 2.6a ■A problem with DISK-icon selection has been corrected.
Version 3.0 ■More optimization for Speed
■Finally: A Setup Program! Define your own extentions and
make virtually any file executable!
■X-View now has its own screen-saver!
Version 3.1 ■Copying files and the statistic function is now even
faster.
■When more files are copied on a disk than there is free
space, then the files which were not yet copied stay
selected.
■some improvements "under the hood" were made.
Version 3.2 ■33 extensions-definitions are now supported

■Pg-Up/Down on status bar implemented
■The DOS command CD is now executed directly under XVIEW

Version 3.4 ■Improved File Select Rubber-Box
■For Speed: Waiting-Prompt was eliminated before returning
to X-View and has been replaced with a SHOW DOS-SCREEN
option in the Pull-Down Menu
■Files that didn't fit on a disk were previously erased,
but still used up the disk space. This bugg is now fixed.
■The sort-algorythm has been improved.
■File names containing !,# or ^ do no longer cause errors.
Version 3.4a ■2 other small (ehem;) buggs concerning parameter-passing
to applications and "New Name:" box have been fixed.
Version 3.5 ■FINALLY through dynamic variables 1024 files per
directory possible!
■Time is displayed.
■Read Only files can now be copied.
■Minor improvement in screen saver routine.
Version 3.5b ■Attempts to copy a READ-ONLY File from a write protected
disk to somewhere else will not crash X-View any longer.
■Selection Routine improved
■Alert-Boxes can now be confirmed with <Enter>
